Beginning Perspectives Track (Ages 6-12)
Supporting emotional development, behavioral regulation, and foundational social skills in children.
The Beginning Perspectives Track is designed for children ages 6 through 12 who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, social, or family-related challenges. This track focuses on building early coping skills, improving emotional understanding, and strengthening communication in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
Children are guided through developmentally appropriate strategies that help them identify feelings, manage big emotions, follow directions, build positive relationships, and improve functioning at home, school, and in social settings. Caregivers are included as appropriate to support consistency and skill development across environments.

- Emotional dysregulation and difficulty managing feelings
- Behavioral challenges at home or school
- Anxiety, worry, or fear-based responses
- Attention and impulse control concerns
- Social skill deficits and peer interaction challenges
- Family conflict or adjustment stressors

- Emotional identification and regulation skills
- Coping strategies for stress and frustration
- Social skills and peer interaction development
- Behavioral expectations and positive reinforcement
- Communication skills and expression of needs
- Structure, routine building, and self-control
