Outpatient Mental Health Services

Renewed Perspectives provides online outpatient mental health services throughout Wisconsin for children, teens, young adults, and adults. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, or a major life change, we're here to help you work through what's going on and find a way forward that makes sense for you.

What to Expect From Our Outpatient Mental Health Services

We know therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Our approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and centered on you. We'll work together to understand what's getting in the way, build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and create goals that fit your life.

Treatment approaches may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Strengths-based interventions
  • Family systems approaches
  • Emotional regulation and coping skill development

Individual Therapy

A Space to Focus on You

Individual therapy is one-on-one support centered on your story, your goals, and what you need right now. It’s a private space to talk openly, work through what’s been weighing on you, build practical skills, and move toward greater stability.

What We Can Work On Together

  • Trauma, stress, and difficult past experiences
  • Anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions
  • Anger and emotional regulation
  • Relationships, communication, and boundaries
  • Justice involvement, reentry, and court-related stress
  • Women’s mental health, parenting, and postpartum adjustment

Therapy That Fits Your Needs

Therapy doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. Sessions may be short-term or ongoing depending on your needs and goals. Together, we’ll identify what you want to work on and build a plan that makes sense for your life.

Group Therapy

Group therapy brings people together who are working on similar challenges. It offers support, structure, and a sense of not being alone. Groups are led by a therapist and follow a clear focus so time is used well.

New to Group Therapy?

Not sure what group therapy is or what to expect? This short educational video from Psych Hub provides a helpful introduction.

What Can We Work On in Group Therapy?

  • Build practical coping and emotional regulation skills
  • Strengthen communication and healthy boundaries
  • Connect with others who may understand similar experiences
  • Build accountability, confidence, and motivation for change
  • Work through trauma, stress, or major life transitions
  • Receive support around justice involvement and reentry
  • Participate in specialized groups for women, young adults, or other shared needs

Finding the Right Group

Not every group is the right fit for every person. We’ll help you explore available groups and determine whether a group fits your needs, goals, and current stage of treatment.

Case Management

Support Beyond the Therapy Session

Sometimes moving forward takes more than therapy. Case management provides practical support to help you navigate resources, services, and systems that may be affecting your stability and well-being.

How We Can Support You

  • Connecting with community resources and support programs
  • Navigating insurance and healthcare services
  • Coordinating care with providers and community agencies
  • Identifying housing, employment, education, or other resources when appropriate
  • Supporting justice-involved clients with reentry and community connections
  • Helping you stay connected to services that support your treatment goals

Connecting the Pieces of Your Care

You shouldn’t have to figure everything out alone. Our goal is to help connect the different pieces of your care so you can spend less time trying to navigate systems and more time focusing on your progress.

Which Option Is Right for Me?

Many people benefit from both individual and group therapy at different times. For example, you might:

  • Start with individual therapy to build trust and safety
  • Add a group to practice skills and get peer support
  • Transition to group only as you maintain progress and stability

Services may not be appropriate for individuals requiring:

  • Inpatient psychiatric hospitalization
  • Detoxification services
  • Residential treatment
  • Acute psychiatric stabilization
  • Emergency crisis intervention requiring a higher level of care
